My name is Lilian James and I am so excited and happy about having joined the WAVES this last August. All these wonderful earth angels have been such an inspiration in my life so far, and I hope to remain an active member of the most loving, kindest, and most compassionate group of human beings I've ever met for the rest of my journey here on earth. I was born in Lima, Peru. My mother is Peruvian and my father is of Italian descent. I came from a big family of six children; I am the second youngest. I came to reside in California at the age of 13, with my mom, brother and sister. I became a citizen 10 years after that, and I am proud to say I am a Peruvian American. However, I have retained my culture, since it is part of me and I cherish it deeply. I am a medical assistant, and I also have experience in providing care for infants and teaching pre-school. I enjoy art, singing, and cooking. I am remarried and the proud mother of five children: Danny, 16; Jessica, 15; Emily, 11, Corey, 10, and last but not least, my youngest, Jimmy, 8. My husband's name is Mark James, and he is the wind beneath my wings. I have a deep love for God, his Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit. I believe my heavenly father has answered my prayers to be of service to him when he put the desire in my heart to help carry Betty's message to the Spanish speaking people.
