One of my greatest joys in life is to share Embraced by the Light with others. This is because I know that God will guide the book to those who need it when they need it most. (God’s timing is perfect!) You can give the book and not look back, because God takes care of the rest. Here is a wonderful letter I received after sending some Embraced by the Light books to a man named Jeff in Alaska. Jeff is now a WAVE, and what a blessing it is to have him among us! I met Jeff through the prayer board, and though we’ve never met in person I believe we share a deep eternal bond of promises made in heaven that were kept here on earth. Friends show up when we need them most; this is when we are Christ for each other. Nothing makes Jesus happier, I think, than when he sees us becoming His love for another! We are all brothers, and when we are there for each other great ripples happen naturally… What a joy it is to be an instrument and messenger of God’s love!

Your gifts of Betty’s book, Embraced by the Light, have made their way across Alaska. I have heard from many, as they have been given on as you so lovingly sent them on to me. They have helped one woman, named Rosa, who had been suffering from panic attacks for two years, who on a daily basis was being found curled up in a fetal position from a fear that she could not understand. I watched this fantastic woman reveal the courage to talk to a group in a Psychology Class of ours numbering more than forty. This was a giant leap from a time when she feared everyone, as she was imprisoned in her own home. Now she will be graduating this spring with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.

Another was a U.S. Army Sergeant named Brian I met in a hospital here in Anchorage who was the only one to survive of four Special Forces Team members from an unknown killing agent encountered in the caves of Afghanistan searching for Bin Laden. He was told that he had only a few months to live after this deadly agent was said to be responsible for two heart attacks and a body dying at the age of twenty-eight, which forced the end of his military career. Now after receiving one of the books, he has surprised all the medical doctors and is now pursuing a career in computer networking, as his health is improving.

Other stories and other miracles continue to make their way back to me as the books are shared. One most recently was of this week, of a wheel-chair-bound deaf woman who also watched Rosa make this miracle transformation and borrowed the book from Rosa. She will also be graduating this spring with her degree in Social Work.

Therefore, God bless you, my friend. Our circles grow bigger as love and the gifts of love ripple across this world. You never questioned if the books ever arrived, a reflection of your unconditional faith that your gifts of love and their miracles will arrive on time for those who need them. May you continue always to be a beacon as you were in your messages to me when I needed them.
