Subject: I'm an Old Warrior, thinking out loud...

Thinking out loud and sharing my thoughts...

There are times we are called upon to have the courage to accept things that seem totally unacceptable. Daily I do pray for all who I know are in the struggle of transformation and personal growth.

And then I feel that dew-drop of grace ... Spirit sent ... white ... pure ... and strong. And in the stillness, though many mysteries I may not fully understand, beautiful thoughts and words run through my mind and I find myself standing in that inner stillness. I’ve arrived without any labour to that place of awe and wonder ... a place of inaction, of focus, contemplation, and study ... a place beyond the threshold of the mundane ... a place for transcendence ...

Though I stand alone, I am aware I’m not alone. To be and to be fully is to be wholly conscious of one’s essence, to be aware and experience full delight of being.

I am aware ... words seem inadequate and cannot capture the essence of this knowledge ...

I emerge from each mystical experience touched to the core and immensely grateful ... this is an important part of my existence ... I give all of my heart and soul to Creator ... and without doubt He/She has pierced my heart with an arrow of love.

Being liberated from refusing to be swept along with every trend ... right or wrong ... is freeing. Always I must take into consideration is it the right direction for me? Awareness is there within me, the Prayer of Listening helps me hear and heed.

Moving toward wholeness, shedding illusions ... listening and standing on solid ground. Ah Mighty Spirit looks upon my needs ... speaks to my soul ... and peace of mind arrives.

I hear the word "Prepare" and it feels like the first aspect of a divine call ... an initiating step perhaps and always from within. We must go within, it is necessary to understand what just "being" is like. From my own experience, I have found going nowhere physically and everywhere internally, life tends to fall into true happiness, fulfillment and peace.

We are called to become what we are in the depths of our being ... born to manifest that which has summoned us to this world.

There is a holy longing that draws us ... questions summon us to seek our truth. Awareness of Creator does not come from guesswork but from the soul whose spirit pierces through the darkness ... hacking away until the answer to a question arrives ... and in that moment, a light is lit. Holy One ... as we enter a oneness of silence words seem superfluity. Hear the soundless chant from our heart to yours and grant us Wisdom in the tenderness of life that we may know what to seek.

As we embrace a surrendered state we become a receptacle to Divine manifestations and Faith, I’m told is the centerpiece of exquisite epiphanies that invite us to live by the grace of invisible strands. Luminous moments ... sudden insights ... transforming our world. And right before our eyes ... everyday synchronistic events ... intimate exchanges between two ... the Great Spirit and I ... the Great Spirit and you!

I am an old warrior, with scars from many losses but I stand my ground with a life affirming attitude. I am as strong as I ever was if not stronger and I'm here for the duration. The scent of love is always near and when you need a hand, I extend mine. When your faith is weak, walk with mine. I am thankful for the gift of reverence for it makes my life sacred and I never tire of unexpected pleasures!

For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps... 1 Peter 2:21

If we love God enough to follow his teachings, we will be able to differentiate between love and false love in others. We will love all people with a Christ-like love, the kind that helps others without being seduced by them. This pure, tough love is kind and patient, but it is also protective and honest. It does not allow us to grovel. If we have love for self, we will do things which lead to happiness, which give us light, and which bring peace into our lives.

Jesus didn’t say to love those who think as we do, or to love those we trust, or to love those who love us. He said to love one another even as he has loved us. His love is the most honest, pure and unconditional love we can know. He loves the murderer, the thief, the liar, and yes, the abortionist, the same as he loves you or me. He loves the sick, the weak, the lost, and the ignorant as he does the healthy, the strong, the saved, and the learned.

The Savior stepped toward me, full of concern and love. His spirit gave me strength, and he said that I was judging myself too critically. "You’re being to harsh on yourself," he said. Then he showed me the reverse side of the ripple effect. I saw myself perform an act of kindness, just a simple act of unselfishness, and I saw the ripples go out again. The friend I had been kind to was kind in turn to one of her friends, and the chain repeated itself. I saw love and happiness increase in others’ lives because of that one simple act on my part.
