Moving Forward
by Betty J. Eadie
WAVE Family and EBTL Friends,
I am excited as our WAVES Family grows and moves forward to further our understanding and knowledge of God! We are expanding our minds to think beyond limits and limitation, and are coming closer to our Creator, to who he is, and what he wants us to become. Let none of us fear to think outside the box while holding true to our understanding of him, and of his unconditional love for us all. Thank you for being true to whom you are. I ask that if you have not yet become a WAVE, but feel in your heart to become one, that you accept the call to come forward as a leader among leaders; that what you have been blessed with, you can share.
Our WAVES Family is organized to include an array of Staff Members who stand by to greet you as we welcome you! Also available to our WAVES Family is a Study Forum that I have added and is led by Leaders within the WAVES. Our discussion groups facilitate "open discussion" between WAVES, and add over-all spiritual growth through knowledge of the Bible, EBTL, and others of my books.
What is our goal?
Hard times are ahead, and as WAVES we want to be prepared for them and to teach others what we know. As leaders we must be ready to be of service to others. We can best do this when we have our own lives in order; when we stand firm in our belief of an eternal God; and when we look toward a life with him in the hereafter.
How do we obtain our goal?
To prepare we need to study and put into practice what we know. We came together as WAVES because of "Embraced" and that is the glue that will hold us together. We need to explore the concepts found in the book that brought us together and come clearer to their meaning for greater understanding. The knowledge gained through them was meant to help in times of turmoil and stress.
Discovering other needs:
As we progress, the needs of the WAVES will encourage direction. Through your discussions and with my direction we will do all that we can to accommodate pressing needs. I plan to address this in our upcoming Teleconference. Please, if interested, join us!
In closing, my dearest Earth Angels, what we have been waiting for is here! Let us take advantage of this precious time and opportunity together! Let us eagerly step forward with excitement and anxious expectation of receiving all the love and blessings that God wants to give!
If heaven were to scroll back at this very moment, I believe it would reveal the many heavenly angels who wished me farewell. I can almost hear their singing again: Hosannas and Hallelujahs! How could they not shout for joy when our eternal progression is also their work and helping hand. What rapture, what bliss, what exhilaration they must feel in their eagerness to assist us! We have the power within us to be the physical expression of their heavenly assignment.
It is my complete delight and joy that we are now ready!
With all my love, always.

 Upcoming Newsletters
by Dawn Moreno
When Betty asked me to be the newsletter editor, I felt excited but completely unprepared for the task. However, with all the wonderful people surrounding me and offering me assistance, it was easier to get going with it than I had first thought.
This newsletter, as well as, upcoming newsletters will contain ideas and encouragement to continue with your preparedness preparations. This is a concept that Betty feels very passionate about, and our own government is now recommending that we prepare ourselves with food and supplies for up to 3 months. I encourage you not to put your preparations off but to take this message very seriously.
The next upcoming newsletter will have more articles and some wonderful features like low-cost delicious recipes for the holidays, and a lot of great pictures sent in by our beloved WAVES family. Additionally, with the holidays approaching, we as WAVES need to remember that not everyone views this time as cheerful and fun. It can actually be a pretty difficult time for many. So, our upcoming newsletter for Christmas will highlight ways to increase your joy and reduce your stress, and ideas on how to help others enjoy a nice holiday. We also hope to add a list of resources and ideas for those who find the holidays challenging.

Giving Thanks This Season
by Vicki Kathleen Gibson
In this season of "thanks giving," there are so many things we can look within and thank God for. While in this vessel of flesh, we will have trials, illnesses, heartaches and pain, but God is ever with us. We are eternal in spirit, as God created us to be. We are glorious, boundless, ageless and timeless. Our eternal spirit has the capacity to grow, develop, and nurture even while we are in the confines of our flesh. We have the ability to gather more knowledge, more light, and even more wisdom to us while on earth. Each step we take can lead us ever closer to our God when we choose to persevere with our premortal and heavenly agreements.
The earth is a unique place in the universe because it is difficult to meet life’s challenges at times. Some Spirits choose not to come here because of the degree of difficulty that we endure. Perhaps earth truly is for more advanced spirits, because living here surely does challenge us greatly. We can be thankful for the gift of prayer, which literally is the gift of being able to 'talk to God' with our hearts and spirits. God hears all prayers no matter how they are relayed to him.
As WAVES, we have been given many blessings. We have a place to grow and to serve others. WAVES is a place to expand our knowledge, find security in sharing while we grow into deeper understanding of our Father’s wisdom. As we move into this particular time period in history, we realize that God has entrusted much into our care! He is counting on us to do our work without complaint, and he is asking us to heed Betty’s message of preparedness in order to meet the coming demands and crises that are growing stronger and more intense as we move into this particular time period in history.
During this "thanks giving" time, let us all reflect on 'counting our blessings' by naming them one-by-one, and let the Lord know that we are grateful for ALL that he has chosen to bestow upon each one of us.
I am so very blessed to be here with such willing hearts and hands in service to our Father in Heaven. Each one of you is a blessing to me, and I thank our Father for all of you. Much love and blessings to each one of you!

Preparedness - Note to Self
by Sonia R. Rogers
Dear Loved Ones (learning to include myself), in pondering Preparedness lately and finding myself uneasy about my own preparedness, I remembered something that has helped me when I catch myself focusing on the “end of the world” and thus neglecting the all-precious Now and Present Moment. For with God nothing is impossible... (Luke 1:37) So, why do I get nervous when I think about the future? Because my faith weakens, as I start finding fault with myself for all I have not yet done.
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone... (James 2:17)
While recovering from alcoholism, my sponsor taught me about the principle of doing what I can; and letting God do the rest. She taught me, at any given moment, to assess just what it is that I am capable of and what I can actually do, and then to DO IT. Between shakes and withdrawals, there were many days when I was capable of very little.
A few years ago I found myself so depressed that there were mornings when the most I could do was get out of bed and make coffee. It took all my strength: emotionally, physically and spiritually; to then just pray a little. The important thing was that I did what I COULD DO on that day. Over time I found myself doing a little more and a little more; till I joined WAVES—at which point my life really took off!
What does this have to do with preparedness? Well, I need to do what I CAN DO, and then, as Betty says, “Do more!” This will be more than some and less than others; the important thing is that I DO it! And in so doing, I can rest in faith, knowing I have taken action and done my tiny part. This action builds my faith and hope; it makes it easier for me to trust God. Taking action, doing what I CAN DO—not worrying about what I cannot do—helps me have faith that God will care for me and take care of the parts that I cannot do for myself.
One thing you CAN DO if you get uneasy about the future, is to go check out our new forums by registering. There is information on Emergency Preparedness and much more! You can find the link to Betty's new EBTL Study Forums and instructions at the top of the WAVES Message Board.
