Jesus Guides His Own
to Higher Levels of
Spiritual Growth
by Betty J. Eadie
My Dearest Angels,
There are many levels of spiritual growth in heaven as well as on earth. During my Near-Death Experience, I was given to understand our Heavenly Father’s plan for his children when I was shown the creation of our world and our pre-earth lives with God before we came to this earth. We each were valiant in that we elected to come here in order to further our development to higher levels, knowing we would gain greater wisdom through our mortal experiences than we would by remaining where we were. As with an eighteen-year-old who leaves home to develop into adulthood, we all grow best by exercising free will in an environment where we must make our own choices. So, our greatest growth could come about only through separation from God—though we knew this would be only temporary and that we would always have the ability to tap into his guidance and know of his love.
What brings us to ever higher levels of growth is our expanding ability to love, thus becoming more like our Heavenly Father. We arrive on earth having already developed to various levels of love—which explains why some are less lovable, committing horrendous acts and others are more loving, radiating love from their birth and throughout their lives, even under the toughest challenges. Our primary purpose here is to gain greater knowledge of love by learning to express it through all manner of circumstances. We are here to mature in love and become as our Heavenly Father is, whose total essence is love. Mortality gives us this greatest opportunity, especially as it presents circumstances requiring us to act from unselfish and unconditional love—which we were more than eager to come here and learn.
For God so loved the world that He sent his only begotten Son to teach us his truth, the true gospel of love—not as the Old Testament taught, thus his words “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another” (John 13:34). Jesus taught us to love one another without favor of faith and he taught that we can live life without fear of being "left behind."
Jesus is the Good Shepherd because he tends his flock and will never leave a lost sheep, no matter how far it may wander. He knows his own and will leave the "ninety and nine" to find the one who is lost and when it is found he will tenderly lay it on his shoulders and carry it back to the safety of the fold, where he rejoices in finding the one who was lost.
He feeds his flock by guiding their path to green pastures of nourishment and beside still waters so they can quench their thirst. And the sheep know their master. They recognize his voice and take comfort in his watchful eye, knowing he is with them and they are safe from harm. Yet some sheep when they stray, do not listen to their master's voice and get lost by listening to others and by following them instead. This can create quite a challenge for the Master and yet, the Good Shepherd will never leave one of his own behind.
Unlike sheep, we are given free-will; we choose our own direction and source to follow. Through the story of the Good Shepherd, we are left with the encouragement that Jesus loves us and will not leave any one of us behind. During my experience in heaven, I learned that at some point in the eternities, all will acknowledge him and accept his love:
| Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow...And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2: 9-11)
|
Paul said "Christ died for our sins" (1 Corinthians 15:3) and John said "Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." (John 1:29). Jesus atoned for (forgave) our sins. He paid the price for us. How can we we dismiss this? If we believe in him and his atonement, how can we possibly think of ourselves as merely sinners still? His forgiveness is infinite and for us all and we belong to him and to the Heavenly Father who sent him.
| For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. 1 Corinthians 6:20 |
For God so loved the world that he sent us a Savior. Many do not understand the meaning of "Savior" and can, in fact, in misunderstanding, be offended by the word. I think of the Savior as a parent, and what a parent might mean to any one of us who dearly love our children. A good parent protects, nurtures and cares for their children, often rescuing them when they are in distress. When have we, as good parents, had to give such a sacrifice? How did it affect us to watch our child in pain? And when we do, we will do all in our power to rescue them. We then become in essence their savior.
Standing in the Savior’s holy presence emanating the most brilliant and purest of light and love, I could not help but say to myself, “Is this Jesus, God, the being I feared all my life? He is nothing like what I had thought. He is filled with love.” And as I felt his enormous spirit I recognized him and ran to him! I knew in my spirit that I had never really been away from him because I had always been a part of him. I knew that he was aware of all my sins and faults, yet I felt his love for me, he knew me better than anyone! And I knew that I was worthy to be with him, to embrace him. He just wanted to hold me and share his love with me because he was my greatest of friends. I remembered he was my brother and felt that strength of family bonds, yet I respected his authority as that of a loving father and I just wanted to receive his love and share my love with him!

We are all connected in God's plan to help each other learn the greater workings and powers of love. Our parents, siblings, friends, and our own children all aid in this purpose. Jesus came to remind us above all else that we are to love, and he lived his life to show us the way and gave his life to show us the perfect example of love.
Our Father in Heaven’s plan is perfect and he is always available to help us. Our prayers to him for our futures can always connect, or reconnect us to him! Like sheep or our own children, our choices may sometimes lead us into trouble and away from growth. But our mistakes can become our greatest teachers when we learn from them, forgive ourselves and move on. Do not spend energy in fearing you might fail or fall short. In our Father's and his beloved Son's limitless and perfect love, no effort to grow is ever wasted or lost. Simply always attempt your best to love our Heavenly Father, love yourself, and love each person he brings into your life. He loves us so much that he gave his own Son. God bless you in this wonderful adventure of love!
All my love,

Betty

Awakening to Who We Are
by Sonia R. Rogers
I love learning! I love when seeds of growth planted long ago are realized. Sometimes during my most discouraging days, I unexpectedly become aware of my growth and this encourages me to keep on, to not quit, and as Betty often says, to “Stay the course” because one day the “fruit” will be manifest. Some of my greatest joy has been when I suddenly realize that God heard my heart’s desire in a tiny prayer I prayed years ago and is answering it right now beyond my wildest imagination!
I think the learning I’ve yearned for the very most has been about Jesus Christ. I want to know who he was, who he is and who he will be when I meet him one day. I thank God for Embraced By The Light that was and is like a spring-board in my life, bouncing me through conditioned fear of God and past my negative ideas of self-worth, to an ability to remove those old blocks between me and God and help me open my heart to him in a greater way.
Betty taught me that when she thinks of the cross, she likes to imagine Jesus ascending in all his glory in a great burst of light. I’ve adopted her visualization and made it my own so that whenever I see a cross, I remember Christ’s love for me and his triumph over evil, having completed his mission of love for us!
And I’ve learned some things about Jesus. I’ve learned he has no ego, for he has perfect confidence in his ability to do the heavenly Father’s will. He is like unto the Father and thus stands in the most mighty and holy strength in God—whose essence is pure love.
I’ve leaned that Jesus loves us so much, that his concern is for our happiness. He wants us to have joy and he knows that we can only do this as we learn to love becoming more like our Father in Heaven. He gave us the perfect example of his life and I treasure his words “Come follow me” and am thankful that he shows us the way.
I’ve learned that it saddens him when we surround ourselves with the negativity of refusing to forgive and thus reject his gift of forgiveness. He is our Brother, our Champion, our greatest Friend and he wants us to learn from our mistakes and then grow forward. I don’t believe that focusing on the suffering of Jesus is what pleases him. The more I learn of him, I see how everything he did was to help us expand our ability to love and draw close to our Heavenly Father by learning to do his will always. I know when I sacrifice to give something to someone, I want them to receive it gladly. I want it to bless them, help them and I want it to bring them joy! When I think of this, I can imagine how Jesus wants us to receive his gift of love and forgiveness and grow to be the precious child of God that we are all meant to be.
He gave his life for us!
A scripture that I have pondered for many years is from the epistle of Paul that he wrote to the Hebrews.
| Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered... Hebrews 5:8 |
It’s taken me many years to understand that he suffered as I do, and so he understands my pain. He walked through quandaries much as I do and understands all my emotions, all my frustrations, all my suffering and pain—because he felt it himself while he was mortal. The difference between him and me is that he made perfect choices in every instance and so was without sin. I can’t make such perfect choices—I’ve made mistakes without number! But that isn’t his concern—he suffered on the cross and in the garden of Gethsemane, and much more—he gave his life so that I could be free from sin, learn from it, and grow to be more like him!
I’m thankful for Betty J. Eadie, for her willingness to share what the Savior taught her with us—through her books, her website, and all that she does—for I know all of it is an effort of love from her heart, doing her very best to do God’s will by completing her mission in a way that pleases Jesus and her Heavenly Father. I’ve worked with her long enough to know that her greatest desire is to be a loving vessel that God can fill with his service. I appreciate her example of choosing to follow Jesus and be Christlike always. I feel God’s Spirit in my heart witness her experience and that it was given to us to help us learn of our eternal lives and our heavenly home—to cast aside our fears and embrace God’s unconditional love. I trust her with all my heart and am so very thankful for the message of “Embraced” that helps me awaken to who I really am, a daughter of God, receiving Jesus in my heart and I look forward with all that I am toward standing in his magnificent presence one day. Meanwhile...I pray to receive his gift of forgiveness and his love, that will help me continue to awaken to who I am and grow the ability of my tiny heart to love and I pray this for all of us in his precious name of Jesus, amen.
With all my heart,
Sonia

The Way Back to God
by Renee Lynch
“Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” John 1:29
When I think of “God’s Sacrifice for the World“, I immediately think of Jesus and how much God must love each of us, knowing what his most beloved Son would endure while on this Earth. I think about the sacrifice it is that Jesus made by agreeing to come here to teach us to love more fully, and to show us the way back to God.
“When [Jesus] came he taught us about God’s pure love. And his demonstration of that love was when he laid down his life for us. It was part of his mission, part of the entire plan for mankind. We may not understand completely all that he did or why he did it, but I know with certainty that through his example of love, as he demonstrated it, is the way back to light and truth, the way back to Heavenly Father.” —The Ripple Effect, page 31
I believe it is important for us, in return, to sacrifice for others. And as we open our hearts and invite God’s will and guidance into our lives each day, I believe we are led to where we can share our gifts with others. Even those sacrifices that may seem small or insignificant at the time may be being used by God in a big way—like when we take time, regardless of what is going on around us, to pray for our world and God’s children. Those heartfelt prayers may have only required a small sacrifice on our part, but if God were using them to prevent an unnecessary catastrophe, our sacrifice could impact others in a great way!
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” 1 Peter 4:10
I am grateful for those to whom God guides us that we might draw inspiration and strength from them, like Betty—as she sacrificed staying in heaven to come back to earth to share Embraced By The Light’s message with the world.
Love,
Renee’

The Joy of this Easter Season
by Pam Katchuk

As a parent, I learned the meaning of unconditional love. There is nothing my son ever did or ever could do that could make me love him any less. Nothing!
Betty speaks of God’s unconditional love for us, and as his child, I know it must be true. I believe part of the reason my child was brought into my life was to give me an understanding of this unconditional love. I trust that God is always there for me, and even though I sometimes falter in being the best person I can be, he still loves me. It gives me great hope and joy knowing this. It makes me strive to get up when I fall and to try again. It gives me the will to go on when I feel lost, for he is always cheering me on.
I know if I get angry with him, forgiveness is always forthcoming. Mostly, it makes me love him back and have the desire to try and be the very best person possible. God made the ultimate sacrifice for us, his beloved son Jesus. As the mother of a son myself, I know what an immense sacrifice that was, and I am deeply grateful. May you all experience the love, peace and joy of this Easter season.
With deepest love,
Pam

Finding the Strength to Do What’s Right
by Joseph Eadie
The first Bible verse I remember memorizing is also, perhaps, the most famous: John 3:16
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
As a child, I understood the basics of this scripture and I was grateful in the knowledge that Jesus had died for my sins. But I understood little else. After all, what could a ten year old child, who had grown up in home as happy as mine, possibly understand about sacrifice?
Now that I am older and have children of my own, I am better able to appreciate this amazing act of unselfishness. Each word is heavy with meaning. And that meaning is love. A love so big, so pure, so holy that God was willing to sacrifice the one thing he loved the most, so that the rest of us might live eternally with him.
What a gift! Not just of eternal life, but of the ultimate lesson in how to live life on this earth. For there are a special few who have been called upon to follow God’s example.
There is a story told of a young boy whose older brother was in a car crash. The father approached the younger son shortly after the crash and said, "Son, if you will, your older brother needs a blood transfusion in order to live. The doctors have determined that only you can provide this blood. Will you provide blood for your brother so that he may live?" The younger son did not hesitate in answering he would indeed help his older brother. Unknown to the little boy was the relative simplicity and safety of the procedure.
The car ride to the hospital was unusually quiet for this normally very talkative little boy. The father, at the same time in the most awkward and difficult position of his entire life, thought best to leave the young boy to his own thoughts. The father and young boy entered the now familiar doors of the town hospital. As the father and son sat in the hospital room, the nurse entered with the needle in hand. She commented how courageous the young boy was, prepared the boys right arm as she had done to hundreds of other patients over the years, and slowly inserted the needle into his arm; the vial began to quickly fill with the young boys blood. After the vial filled, the young boy, with tears in his eyes, turned to his father and asked, "Daddy, how long do I now have before I die?"
I remember the amazing true story of Arnold D. Williams Jr., a 46 year-old bank examiner who boarded a plane full of strangers on January 13th, 1983. It was an extraordinary cold day. Snow and ice brought their plane down into the freezing waters of the Potomac. There were 79 people on board, but only six survived the crash. Numbness and hypothermia quickly set in. As the rescue helicopter circled, it dropped life vests, a rescue ball and lines. They were repeatedly caught by one man, Arnold D. Williams Jr. The helicopter pilot would later say that this particular man seemed more alert than the others. And what did this alert man do? Did he take one of the life vests or buckle those lines around himself so that he could be raised into the warm safety of the helicopter? No. He passed the life vests, rescue balls, and ropes to the strangers struggling with him in the water. One by one he watched them rise into the air. And although he succumbed to the icy rivers, his sacrifice allowed all five of the others to live.
I often wonder what I would do if called upon to make such an extraordinary sacrifice. If I would be brave and unselfish enough to follow God’s example as the young boy did in the first story. Would I have the courage and concern for others to follow the second example of Arnold D. Williams Jr.?
When I have doubts, I open my heart and put my faith in God. Because I know if I can love my fellow man even half as much as he does, I will find the strength do what‘s right.

Learning What God’s Sacrifice Means
by Pamela Gates
“God's Sacrifice for the World" is probably my weakest area because I don't understand it well. With so many varying ideas surrounding Jesus’ death and resurrection, I am relieved to read Betty’s wisdom that Jesus provides us the way back to God our Father. This is simple, clear, and inclusive. To me, “providing a way” is an act of love, and we are to love one another. I believe opportunities are always around us to learn about Jesus, spiritual laws, and how to live and love fully like in heaven. I believe the more we choose to model Jesus in our daily lives the more we love unconditionally.
Also, I resonate with what Betty says regarding we don’t need to judge ourselves harshly; we are here to learn, experiment, and make mistakes. I trust Jesus will satisfy all of my questions when I see him again. Jesus doesn't belittle me that I "didn't get it all" while I am down here. I am forgiven when I don’t understand or when I choose poorly. When I do learn something, a new understanding is overlaid on what I used to believe. What a relief to realize I simply discovered a less conditional, less limiting, and “bigger” way to love.
Here is to trusting, learning, growing, experimenting on how to live and love fully, like Jesus…and especially with people who believe differently than I do.
Shining as best I am able,
Pam

To Freely Give Love Like Jesus
by Joshua Nephi Duersch
God's greatest sacrifice for the world is sending Jesus Christ to redeem us. God created the world for us and allowed humanity to come into the wilderness of sin. God sees and knows every time we stumble. Sin is for our benefit, because it allows us to gain knowledge and experience. But he has given us a way back to him through Jesus Christ. His and Christ's sacrifice to the world, allow us to come back to God.
For God so loved
the world,
that he gave
his only
begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish,
but have everlasting life...
that the world through him might be saved.
St. John 3:16-17
I know that Jesus loves us, much more greatly than we can yet even fully appreciate.
| “There was no questioning who he was. I knew that he was my Savior, and friend, and God. He was Jesus Christ, who had always loved me, even when I thought he hated me. He was life itself, love itself, and his love gave me a fullness of joy, even to overflowing. I knew that I had known him from the beginning, from long before my earth life, because my spirit remembered him.” —Embraced By The Light, Page 42 |
He cares for us so much that he was willing to endure our sins, for our benefit. I know that we are all filled with promise, because we were created with great promise by God. I hope and pray that I can be more like Jesus, to love all mankind as he does, to live the best life I can, and one day, to openly feel and freely give love like he does.

Because He First Loved Me
by DeeDee Valdez
Resurrection Day has arrived. Easter is to be celebrated! When I think about why we celebrate Easter Sunday, it always puts a smile on my face because it is all about Jesus! This man who walked the earth, set an example to all of us by loving others and creating hope by his death and resurrection, this man has won my heart and soul.
And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many. ( Matthew 27:52)
The power of conquering death—it must really have shaken the people to see graves open and the loved ones they had buried in the grave, walking back to town as a result of Jesus overcoming death!
| O Lord my God, I cried out to You, and You have healed me. O Lord, You have brought my soul up from the grave, You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit. Psalms 30:2-3 |
I reflect how Jesus has touched my own life, giving me the power to heal myself from the inside out, and how Jesus has brought me out of the pit of despair and has kept me alive…thank you Jesus!
| But the spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you. He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11 |
Betty posted on the WAVES Board, the link about the Shroud of Turin, and as a result we saw the 3-D image produced of the face of Christ. The power of his transformation from the physical into spirit must have been an explosion of light and love. What I have found from my walk with Jesus is his love is the same for all of us, that life giving transformation power of his divine unconditional love. I have put off my grave clothes, and love to see how Jesus has given us all hope because He lives!

My Heavenly Father:
My Staff of Comfort & Aid
by Vicki Kathleen Gibson
When I let myself think of God the Father as my personal Heavenly Father, who cares about all that I do, and wants to live in me each day, I am humbled at his grace in my life. His light is the truth and the way, which can guide me in all things in my mortal walk here. This learning experience on earth is full of pit falls and we are all imperfect. But because my Heavenly Father loves me, his gift of atonement through his beloved Son and my wonderful elder brother Jesus, means that I have the gift of his grace to lift me up and help me move forward in spite of my mistakes along the way. God knew that this life would challenge every single individual born to this planet, and as a loving Father, he does not want his children lost to the darkness and chaos of this world. He is ever present to shed light and strength upon all those who call upon him with a pure and sincere heart to embrace that spiritual change that can take place in our mortal flesh. I can walk clean before my Father because of his grace if I but accept this mercy in my life, and live according to his will and word and laws.
Because of the atonement, I can become a better person beyond my own imagining if I but lean upon the teachings of Christ. I may walk this earth being 'poor' in mans eyes, but rich in Gods eyes because I am his daughter and desire to walk that narrow path back into his presence. Jesus paved the way for me. His love for me is perfect and his atonement blesses my path. I have the opportunity in this life to learn of what God is and witness to others just what his love and grace means to me by living the example God would have me be each day, and that they also may have this gift to be with them. To act upon the word of God matters most. It is not enough just to 'say' I believe, but to act in accordance to my belief in his word. I must embrace his light into all that I do so that others may also be drawn to know God in their lives.
My Heavenly Father is just a prayer away, and his loving spirit can be a constant companion when I discipline myself to first contemplate "What would he have me do here?" and then be still enough for my own thoughts to flee and his still small voice to enter in to guide my thoughts and steps. It takes faith to act upon our spiritual knowing, and not always easy to do, yet when we really trust in his love that he would not ask us to do anything that would be harmful to us, we can move in this wisdom trusting his grace in our lives.
As his daughter, I know that I can rely upon my Heavenly Fathers love for eternity. He will not leave me, as man does. He will not forget my needs, nor abandon me to the wolves even when I may walk among them. His spirit of comfort is mine to have also, as are his teachings that are the key components to a happy, abundant and purposeful life. He already knows the path I must walk, but that does not mean he is not there every step of the way. I believe he wants me to return home to him one day, and wants me to do the best I can to expand in spirit as far as it is mortally possible to do so. He is cheering for us all when we follow in his footsteps, and I know he is also sad when we fall as well. But his grace is ever present, and can heal all broken, lost, lonely, sad and struggling hearts. His love can and will surround us when we but lean in hope and faith upon his promises. God never breaks his word!
No matter where I am, or what may come to test my walk to Him, I know he is there wanting only the best for me. I can lean upon him with my joy and my tears and know he hears and sends his servants to lift and comfort as he wills. I am grateful for these loving blessings in my life!
"I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me" (Philippians 4:13)
Nothing is impossible to my Father in Heaven, and as I call upon him to be with me in this difficult walk of mortality, I pray for his spirit to guide me every day. I need his grace in my life, and I trust he will always be there no matter what is happening in my growth here. But I am fallible as all mortals are and make mistakes. His grace of forgiveness brings me a clear page on which I may write my life in a new way- in Him! As I learn and seek to do better, he is with me.
I am his daughter, and his love for me is beyond measuring. I pray I may love as perfect and as deeply as he does so that I will fully extend into being all that he created me to be. Even this goal is not impossible through his grace and Love for he knows the desires of my heart perfectly and wants me to be more than what I am. To live and be with him again is all I desire, and I am grateful for all the trials, lessons and accomplishments that have been and will come to bring me back to him and his eternal grace. I pray the same for all, as I know that returning home to our Lord is the greatest blessing of all and the crowning joy of having walked this earth to expand what we are in his glory.
I love my Father in Heaven, and pray to do his will in my life, and through his grace, these things are all possible. Without his grace, I would be lost forever, as I am an imperfect mortal here and beyond. I humbly thank my Heavenly Father for his love that is also for me too. I am not a forgotten child as he sent his Son to tell me so, and wants me home with him eternally! And I so pray to be there with him and to know that 'all is well, good and faithful servant-my daughter'...to hear these words would be my greatest joy! I have much to do before that day, and pray I fulfill all the he sent me here to do and the strength to see it through to the end as he would have me do. I lean upon his grace on these things.
In Jesus, I am not forgotten to my Heavenly Father, no matter how many of his children are before or after me, and my spirit longs for my God and his Son, and all things of my natural home with them. May it be so in his holy name to join them in eternity, even so, Jesus Christ, Amen and Amen.

For God So Loved the World
by Glenn A. Eadie
God so loved the world (you and I) that he sent His only begotten son, even Jesus Christ, to set the example for the rest of us to follow. Jesus, because he loves us too, agreed to pay the price of justice for our sins in the Garden of Gethsemane. In that sacred place he atoned for the sins of the world; the sins of every man and woman ever born before him and those that will ever be born after him. The pain and agony was so excruciating that drops of blood seeped from every pore of his body.
I am reminded of the “refiner’s fire.” We are tested through flames of temptation and seemingly unbearable heat of suffering and hardship. As we overcome such temptations and endure each personal trial it’s as if we are cooled and smoothed out. The resulting realization that we are stronger and more capable gives us strength to press forward in righteousness. Again, we are tested, we learn, we grow, and we press forward in His strength. This repetitive process refines us and molds our mortal existence into a powerful tool to assist God in His work. It is when we become more child like, more patient to our fellow man, more willing to forgive, submitting to the will of our Eternal Father by following the Savior’s enduring example of righteous obedience through love; it is through this refiner’s fire that our very nature is changed. It is at this very moment in time that we feel his insurmountable peace envelop us and we understand how God the Father allowed his son, even Jesus Christ, our Savior, to suffer as he did. In His infinite wisdom and love he sacrificed his only begotten son for us; for you and for me, so that we might live again and ultimately preside in His presence. What greater testimony is there than these words, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 KJV
Being a mortal father to my children I have grown to love them dearly as I watch them mature. They are adults now but still growing, learning and yes, still making mistakes along the way. They have their freedom to make their own choices. Some times what they choose is not what I would consider to be best, but they are personal choices, not mine to make. I also see that they have consequences to those choices and I see the pain that it causes them. I still love them none the less. But, my love falls short of that love that our dear shepherd, Jesus, has for us. I am guilty of showing my frustration to my children where as He continues to guide with a gentle loving hand. I am grateful to know that we receive heavenly help. I have experienced both his redeeming and enabling power. I join my voice with others as I too “testify that these powers are real and available to each of us. Indeed ‘in the strength of the Lord’ we can do and overcome all things as we press forward on our journey of mortality”.
