GUIDELINES FOR BRINGING CHILDREN
and GUESTS
(Please review carefully if you plan to bring children or a guest.)

LEISURE TIME
Children and guests are welcome during
leisure time. Please feel free to bring
your children to meals and to all other
leisure time portions of the Gathering.

SATURDAY SPEAKING EVENT
This event is open to the public, and
children and guests are welcome to attend
(subject to admission, see below). However,
use your discretion in bringing young
children. Betty will share her NDE and
answer questions pertaining to many
sensitive subjects such as death and
dying and other topics that children
may not relate to or be able to grasp.
This event is 3+ hours long. Young children
apt to become restless may distract
those who have paid to attend and disturb
the attentive and usually quiet atmosphere
that accompanies Betty as she speaks.
This event is free for children of WAVES
age 12 and under (must be accompanied
by their WAVE parent). Guests and children
of WAVES over 12 must purchase tickets
to attend. Seating is limited; therefore
it is best to purchase tickets in advance.
Note: Proceeds from ticket sales will
fund this event, covering the cost of
space and expenses.

WAVES-ONLY PROGRAMS
At Betty's request all WAVES-only
programs will be strictly limited to
WAVE members. No children of any age
or guests, please. There will be
no exceptions! If a friend or spouse
wants to attend these programs, Betty
asks that you direct them to the "About
WAVES" page prior to the event where
they can choose (should the Spirit lead
them) to sign up as a WAVES volunteer.
All new signups must be PRIOR to the
date of the WAVES Gathering and must
also RSVP as mentioned above.

CHILDCARE
Childcare will not be provided at any
time during the convention. Children
are the sole responsibility of their
parents or guardians. If your child
will need childcare during any portion
of the convention, please bring a trusted
childcare provider, spouse, or other
trusted family member to the convention
with you. For your child's protection
and safety, it is STRONGLY cautioned
that you do not ask any other person—WAVE
or otherwise—to look after your
children at any time during the Gathering.
In addition, please exercise caution
with any child under 18 in leaving them
unsupervised in your hotel room or anywhere
else. Should you have any questions
