AUCTION GUIDELINES
At the WAVES-only Sunday event at the
Boston WAVES Gathering this July, we
will be holding a Silent Auction with
the money going toward our WAVES Gathering
Fund to help offset Gathering costs.
Any WAVE who would like to participate
is welcome to donate an item (or more).
This is a great way for WAVES to create/donate
things from the heart, and share the
items with other WAVES! Here are a few
examples of what may be appropriate:
inspirational music, gift baskets, handmade
items, art items or handmade jewelry,
etc. Let your creativity and imagination
find the expression that fits you best.
Please note, however, that at Betty’s
request gifts of personal services will
not be included as part of the Silent
Auction.
*When you have a good idea of what
you plan to donate to the auction, please
email me here: DAVEINWM aol.com
so that I may plan adequate table space
for our event. Be sure to put "Auction
Items" in the subject line of your email.
Plan to bring your item(s) to our meeting
room on Sunday morning between 8:30-9:00
a.m.

NOTE FROM BETTY
Dearest WAVES,
In the past there have been loving
offers from WAVES to give of their healing
talents and spiritual knowledge to the
WAVES at the WAVES Gathering and within
the Silent Auction. While I greatly
appreciate the kindness and generosity
behind such offers, I must decline all
such requests.
My concern is that while most WAVES
are sound in what they practice, some
may not be. Therefore, for the comfort
and safety of ALL WAVES attending, only
the programs that are on the "Event
Schedule" will be approved to take place
in conjunction with the WAVES Gathering.
I must ask that no other teachings
or methods of healing or cures take
place at the WAVES Gathering at any
time other than that which is assigned.
Similarly, gifts of personal services
will not be included as part of the
Silent Auction.
Please understand that I am not judging
your gifts or talents, but rather that
I am concerned about liabilities. I
also feel a need to hold true to that
which brought the WAVES together. God
blessed us as a group when he joined
us through the message and principles
taught from Embraced by the Light. This
Gathering, and all WAVES meetings and
gatherings, should reflect those teachings.
