The Ripple Effect, Our Harvest |

| Following the phenomenal success of Eadie's previous two books about her near-death experience she had 25 years ago (Embraced By The Light and The Awakening Heart), she founded a publishing company to help her realize her calling as a messenger of Jesus Christ. The house's inaugural book is a reassuring response to her readers' emotional outpourings that answers their questions and offers clarification about death and the beyond. It's likely to appeal to those who find comfort in Eadie's description of loved ones who may continue to communicate and offer guidance after death, and of afterlife reunions with family members and perhaps even with pets. Not surprisingly, some statements are likely to provoke controversy: Eadie believes that every individual has had a prior life as a spirit created by God, and that every spirit chooses its path on eartheven ones that involve suffering, which she sees as a means of growth. She views near-death experiences as a foretaste of our eventual return to the spirit world. Though not tied to a specific religious practice (except for prayer), the work is overly Christian and subtly conveys a conservative stance on abortion, suicide, assisted suicide and premarital sex, while simultaneously warning readers not to judge others. Personal accounts of healing, resolution, making peace with the death of loved ones and affecting stories of near-death experiences characterized by bursts of energy, light and a feeling of all encompassing love are among the most remarkable and compelling parts of the book. | THE
