Mills was born in Donalsonville, a small farming town in Georgia. His father
disappeared before Mr. Mills' birth, and after, his mother gave him to her
parents to raise. Since early on, Roy Mills has remembered his own pre-birth
life. These memories have always been natural and reassuring to him. It
wasn't until age ten that he realized most people don't have such memories.As a teen Mr. Mills
worked on road crews and later became an industrial machinist. At 21 he
married and moved near the farm he was raised on. Despite an emotionally
difficult beginning in life, Roy Mills now has a happy and loving family.
He likes fishing and the outdoors. He enjoys giving hitchhikers rides and
helping people in other ways whenever he can. Roy Mills now lives with his
wife, Phyllis, near Bainbridge, Georgia. The couple has three sons and one
grandson.In 1995 Mr. Mills was
told by a heavenly messenger to write his story in a book and to tell what
he remembers of life before his birth. The Soul's Remembrance is
that book.
